Over the past 10 years, Konings has pursued its ambition to make the company more sustainable by investing strongly in the operational workflow. Nevertheless, we still have a long way to go. To all of our stakeholders: be as sustainable as possible and make a difference!
ECOLOGICAL THINKING
We have already taken important steps, by for example banning CFKs from our cooling installations, optimising our steam boilers and using water and compressed air more wisely. Even the fruit pulp gets a second life. LED lighting has made its appearance and we have introduced solar energy to provide our plants with green energy. In Boxford we even use two bioreactors, providing much of the plant with green energy.

Our specialists are constantly on the lookout to optimise our materials for a more sustainable offer, both for primary and secondary packaging.
